About Meneba

Meneba is a leading producer of high-quality corn products, intended for the processing of food, feed and non-food applications. In the selection process of the raw materials and mixtures much attention is given to product safety.

Project Scope

In the first phase Quintiq developed, in cooperation with Meneba, a model for the combinatorial optimization of these corn types, taking in to account the very strict quality aspects, variable costprices, availability of the many raw materials and specific restrictions in the production process.

In the second phase of the project this recipe optimization model was expanded upon with scheduling functionality in order to plan the production process integrally in the various locations, realizing a supply chain optimization.
