About Applus RTD

From its eleven regional offices in the Netherlands, Applus RTD is engaged in non-destructive testing (NDT). The company performs quality, safety and reliability inspection services for technical systems. Apart from the eleven offices in the Netherlands, the company (founded in 1937) now has branches in Germany, Belgium, France, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Canada, the United States, Australia and Nigeria. Applus RTD service areas are primarily in the offshore and onshore oil, gas and petrochemical industry, the chemical industry, power generation (including nuclear power stations), pipelines and construction.

Project Scope

After the implementation of Quintiq, Applus RTD is able to get the most out of the planning of its Dutch employees, permanent employees on international projects and a large group of external employees and subcontractors. The new planning system using Quintiq keeps track of a number of factors, such as employee certification, specific client needs, required material, governmental regulations/legislation on the use radiation technology and working hours regulations. In addition, Applus RTD will be better able to anticipate disruptions in the planning caused by unforeseen events.
